Was wondering if there is any limit on the number of days in a year one spends in Colombia? Or if there a certain number of entries you are allowed. Or can you just keep leaving and getting another 90?
Basically I've entered 3 times this year. One I used the full 90 days, exited on day 89 and came back and then used another 25. And then I left to Lima on a flight for 2 weeks and came back for technically the 3rd time, but it was only 2 days... although I might have been issued another 90, but…
I want to stay in Colombia more than 90 days. I know I can renew my tourist visa by 90 days.
But will I have problems getting on my plane with a ticket that is more than 90 days.
I have heard stories...
So do I have to book a ticket for less than 90 days and then when I'm in colombia rebook it for longer than 90 days.
Or will I be fine just book it for the first time longer than 90 days...
Flying from Brussels -Belgium...
I have been searching forums to find something quite recent on where to spend NYE but couldn't find anything recent hence this post.
My partner and I are sailing into Cartagena from Panama for xmas. So plan to stay there for a few days, then move on to Santa Marta. We are then stuck for where to go for NYE.
Do we go to Medellin? or do we go to Cali? Or do we stay in Santa Marta?
We are a couple in our late 20's but not massive party people, looking for a fun atmosphere where we can…
Ive been reading about a few options, of course Taganga and Santa Marta.
Taganga seems a little rough around the edges and the visibility of the water is poor?
Any other ideas??
Could you give me the advice in my first trip in San Andres?
I'm from Russia and a beginner in kitesurfing and I plan to visit this island in December for 7 days.
I want to meet new friends with same interests and do kitesurf with them. But unfortunately I'm not familiar with many details related this sport in this place.
What do you know about it? Is it good idea for beginner or not? Spots can be not appropriate for my level.
Thank you a lot!
Currently in Salento and working my self down to Ecuador. However, I would love to visit both cali and San Agustin before I do so. So what do you recommend me to do. Salento-Cali-Agustin-Ecuador or Salenti-Augustin-Cali-Ecuador?
I am looking for the way that is the best in ways of time common sense.
The thing is when I look at the map it is obvious that I should start with Cali, however my Colombian friend from cali tells me that I should start with San agustin.
My boyfriend and i are going to Colombia for the first time next february, since we only have 14 days and there is so much to do i'm looking for help.
We are in our late 20s, we are going to backpack and stay in hostels but we will cover long distances with domestic flights. We want to see Bogotà, Medellin, Salento and the Cocora Valley, Cartagena, Barranquilla, and spend 3-4 days at the beach but still haven't figured out where (Tayrona and Santa Marta or Isla Grande or Playa…
In November I will be travelling to Colombia with 2 friends. After arriving in Bogota we plan to take a flight to Armenia. Our flight arrives at 11:30pm and we are planning to take a taxi from the airport to Salento.
Would that be a safe option, especially at that time? And would you recommend arranging a taxi upfront (if so, how?) or would it be ok to take a taxi at the airport?
Thanks a lot for your help!!
