I will visit Colombia in mid September for two weeks. I want to see as many as I can, the Colombian typical landscape and culture. I prefer trekking rather than relaxing on the beach. I’m solo, and don’t have enough time to be off the beaten track, but just following the major touristic loop is not my idea.
Here is my itinerary, it looks too tight for two weeks, and I have to omit at least one place. Which one I should miss? Please give me some advice.

After an amazing trip in Colombia and Ecuador we are selling our 4WD Ford Explorer converted in camper bed in Medellin or Bogota starting September 2016.
We bought it in March 2016 in Bogota, all papers are ok and the selling process takes only a couple of days to transfer the ownership to the buyer. No problem at borders neither as the papers will be under your name.
Below are the details and pictures of the car and its equipment.

I've read other itineraries for similar amounts of time in Colombia.
It'll be my first time in South America. Given that I'll most likely be very impressed by so many things anyway (including other smaller towns like Guatape and Jardin) I'm wondering if I could skip Villa de Leyva (and Barichara) so as to spend more time elsewhere.
At the moment the plan is to spend the first two days in Bogotá then fly to Cartagena. Maybe 3 days tops if I do a day trip to the islands. PNN Tayrona…
Any one been to the Manizales fair. Is it worth attending or worth a pass.
What is a reliable bus company from Manizales to Medellin. Any recommendations would be great.
I'm headed to Tayrona in October, wondering if anyone has some favourite hostels or dive centers located in the area. Hoping to budget around (preferably under) $10CAD/night and looking to get my open water diver certifications for relatively cheap as well. I have a tent etc so hostel camping would be a great option also. Suggestions? :)
We have been advised to buy a cheap bus ticket to leave the country in order to meet visa requirements (before leaving Europe). Does anyone have recommendations regarding bus companies and connections?
I have a quick Q for anyone Colombian/who knows a bit more about the visa system. I'm due to arrive in Colombia on 30 September. I'm doing some volunteer work with an organisation for 6 weeks, but am still technically a full-time student through my university because the volunteer work goes towards my degree. Does anyone know if it's necessary for me to purchase the $395 volunteer visa or if I can possibly get away with the $100ish student visa option. (Obviously I'd much prefer that…
I have done a lot of reading, research and seeking recommendations but as with everyone my itinerary is slightly individual so I would really appreciate the advice of people who have done similar parts of my trip. My main question is:
1. I'll be in Colombia in October. I arrive in Cartagena as the beginning of the month. Realistically, is the rain going to impact on the trip? Will some things not be recommended e.g. cuidad perdida, amazon, pacific coast?
and also, any general…
