Lonely Planet review for Tapas Macarena

Run by a Dutch/Colombian couple, this cool corner spot is tiny with a play on the usual tapas, including sautéed beef with Indonesian peanut sauce, and Dutch cheese plates. Plenty of Belgian beers too.

    First Tapas Bar in Colombia

    ritagandhi recommends this,

This is a lovely, tiny restaurant where you will find different tapas. From the patatas bravas and boquerones to very special ones, like the carpaccio with iberian and blue cheese, the patatas a lo pobre which are potatos with serrano and fried eggs. The serrano salad, the lamb mini burgers....

Besides, the service is very good. I felt like at home. The atmosphere is very familiar and warm. You also can drink an excellent sangria, or choose one of the international beers.

This place is in La Macarena, which is a traditional neighborhood in bogota. Very colorful, with lots of restaurants, cafes and shops.
If you want to go for tapas... this is the place!!!
