Lonely Planet review for La Puerta Falsa

This is Bogotá’s most famous snack shop – with displayed multicolored candies beckoning you into the tiny spot that’s been in business since 1816. Grab a sticky breva candy, eggs or tamales for breakfast, or sit with chocolate completo (hot chocolate with cheese, buttered bread and a biscuit; COP$4000).

A truly jewel in the city. You can have "Tamales"

This is a genuine place, with an interesting history -ask the manager- in the heart of Bogota.

Try the Tamales and Chocolat or other local pastries.

Nice place for a quick snack

    kisamtravel recommends this,

This is a nice place off the main Bolivar square in Bogota, very busy with locals. You can get all kinds of pastry’s there and re-charge for your walking tour around old town.
