Salto de Angél

This is a upscale restaurant who becomes very crowded at night. I've seen some concerts there also in a great atmosphere.  Often crowded with college kid, I would recommend to go week days of day time to really enjoy the very good food served here.

“El Salto del Angel” (the jump of the angel), is really more than a good restaurant. Located in one of the best neighborhoods in Bogotá, with a great view over the 93’s park, one green park surrounded by nice restaurants, bars and cafés; where concerts, charismas shows and events take place in the night, or during the day you’ll see families with little children, couples, people with their dogs go for a nice quiet walk.

The place is enormous and you can find good dishes and a quiet atmosphere before 10:30 11:00 pm, when the music slowly changes and the volume gets louder turning this good restaurant in one great discotheque. If you arrive early, you don’t pay cover, and you can enjoy for a good meal and a good party, later in the night.

The tex-mex food is very good and you can find a great sort of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The personal is always friendly and they respond quickly to your needs or particular requests. 

This restaurant is a perfect example of the modern cosmopolitan Bogotá.
