Now for something a little different. Business-oriented, but ever homely and personal, the sprawling suites at 101 Park House tend to attract extended-stay guests, while hotel staff treat everyone like long-term tenants from the get-go.
Rooms are great - with plush arm chairs and beds emphasising comfort over modern style, plus a kitchen overlooking a sitting area with cable TV; nearly all come with fireplaces, and some have terraces overlooking the namesake park next door. Staff can arrange to customise suites - providing extra TVs in private offices, even knocking down walls to make bigger rooms for long-stayers. The restaurant downstairs, Café Cafe, serves tasty filet mignon and sushi, and hosts a free breakfast buffet. The full gym (with sauna and steam bath) includes a squash court, plus there's free access to a nearby fitness centre too. There are four meeting rooms on the ground floor leading on to the outdoor barbecue deck.
