Getting there & away

The nearest train station is at Dàhéyán, 58km north of Turpan. Minibuses to Dàhéyán (Y8, one hour) run approximately every 30 minutes between 7.30am and 8pm.

Buses to Ürümqi (Y33, 2½ hours) run every 20 minutes between 8am to 8pm. There is one daily bus at 10am to Kashgar (Y147, 26 hours) via Kuqa (Y69, 15 hours).
