Tiánzǐfáng
Burrow into the lǐlòng here for a rewarding haul of creative boutiques, selling everything from hip jewellery and yak-wool scarves to retro communist dinnerware. Stores get shuffled around about as regularly as mahjong tiles, but keep your eyes peeled for Feel Shanghai offering tailored Chinese clothing, InSH for contemporary local fashion, Chouchou Chic with kid's clothes, as well as arty tea shop Zhenchalin Tea.
