The godess of food has found Heaven in Shanghai

    marynew recommends this,

What do you get when you invite Burmese, Thai, Laotian, Vietnamese cuisine into a Yunan kitchen, and then transport that kitchen to Shanghai? The month water flavours which we in Shanghai call LOST HEAVEN.
It’s not common place to find a diner in Shanghai who doesn’t roll their eyes and squeak a little when the phrase LOST HEAVEN is uttered.
Step into the 1920’s villa and soak up the 3 floors of tranquility created using traditional artifacts , including Buddha himself, low lightning and perfect table placement combined with outstanding flavours from Yunan, West China and its bordering countries.
Visitors to Shanghai will get a taste and vision of China beyond Shanghai from the simple traditional clothing of the staff, the table settings ,to the very unique bathroom ‘mirror’. Make an essential booking, visit , consume and then remind yourself that the reviews on Lonely planet directed you to a new found HEAVEN
