Lonely Planet review for Ou Mun Café

This much-loved Macanese cafe closed down for a while, but it has come back with a modern facelift, decorated with colourful stained glass. The freshly made Portuguese pastries and chocolates are still here.

    good coffee & cake just off main drag..and grilled sardines!

    spent a single day in Macau over from Hong Kong (would be nice to spend much longer) and this place felt welcoming and offered a great lunch special menu. We returned before home for the good coffee and great selection of traditional cakes served by friendly staff...good choice

    Little but warm environment in a busy tourist spot

    This is little coffee shop is located in a small little street close to the main tourist spot Senado Square. Very sweet and warm environment with nicely blended coffee and Portuguese snacks. Prices are not expensive comparing to those in surrounding area, like the wellknown Starxxxks. Worths giving it a try and experience the European Cafe in a small little street of Macau (Asia). For food suggestion, I would say "Pasteis de Bacalhau" (Salted Cod Fish Cake), one of the cafes that really use Cod Fish in it and not just potatoes. :)
