Getting there & away

From Sūzhōu, tourist bus 4 runs from the train station to Mùdú and costs Y2. Make sure to get off at Mùdú Yánjiā Huāyuán Zhàn (), which is across from a small road leading to the main entrance. You’ll see a big sign and a parking lot full of tour buses. The ride takes about 30 minutes.

From Shànghǎi, deluxe buses run from the Shanghai Stadium directly to Mùdú. They leave at 7.20am and 8.10am and leave Mùdú at 4pm for the return trip. Tickets cost Y110. Alternatively, you can take a bus or train to Sūzhōu and switch to bus 4 at the train station.
