Crammed into buildings, up escalators and in back lanes are Hong Kong’s malls of micro-shops selling designer threads, a kaleidoscope of kooky accessories and an Imelda Marcos of funky footwear. Island Beverley is where Hong Kong’s youngest mall trawlers shop for clothes and trinkets.

    The best place for independent fashion in Hong Kong.

    Island Beverly is a tightly packed labyrinth of independent fashion stores, boasting a wide variety of local and Asian clothing. If you're looking for something a little distinctive, out of the ordinary or even one-of-a-kind, this is the mall for you. All of the staff in each shop were friendly and outgoing, and only happy to help. The mall is also a good place to track down toy capsules and other pop culture trinkets, if collecting them is a hobby for you.

    All in all, it's an independent relief from the overly commercial stores and brands of Times Square and Sogo.
