Millennium City Park information
High on historical kitsch, this theme park is a recreation of the famous Qingming painting , brought to life with roving staff in Song-era costumes, cultural performances, folk art and music demonstrations. Despite the surfeit of souvenir stalls, there’s fun to be had (there’s a wedding ceremony and even a mock naval battle out on the lake). The night ticket allows entry during the day (after 2pm) and a seat for a colourful evening performance (8.10pm to 9.30pm March to November).
