Guǎngzhōu's expats highly recommend this German restaurant on the riverfront. Enjoy an imported beer (from Y30) on its patio. The menu includes sausages, meatballs and stuffed goose.

    Super tasty food nice European and calm environment

    If you were like us and you just arrived in Guangzhou you will most likely be overwhelmed by the culture, the traffic and the way things are. 1920 is very close to haizhu square MTR/metro. The environment is familiar if you are European and very calm and relaxed. It has a private garden at the front surrounded by ive and a steel screen that separates you from the city. The food is German and supper tasty - if your not a fan of German food and sour krout not to worry as the taste and look of the food is a little muted to appeal to everyone from Europe and beyond. It is a little on the expensive side but worth the extra bit as the food is great. We spend around 240 RMB for 2 mains and 2 drinks of coke.
