Lonely Planet review for Plastered T-Shirts

Purveyors of ironic T-shirts that are good to give or keep as mementos of Běijīng. The cotton T-shirts, from Y98, incorporate iconic Běijīng logos and signs: Yanjing beer, old taxi rate stickers, the Běijīng subway map, or you can go for the ones that portray the capital as a Hawaii-like haven of palm trees and sunsets. Opposite the entrance to the shop is a rare surviving slogan from the Cultural Revolution era, which exhorts the people to put their trust in the People’s Liberation Army (PLA; China’s armed forces).

overpriced paraphernalia designed mostly by an English expat

    voyart does not recommend this,

this is a very profitable business of an expat, an Englishman that has been in Beijing for a long time. Anything you buy in this shop won´t be a genuine piece of China to take home, or anything like that. It is a tourist trap that sells some tees to tourists. The print or "plaster" on the tees is very low quality. Keep this in mind before spending your money in this shop.

I really don´t know why Lonely Planet keeps including this shop in their guide listings. The English author must know...
