Recently reopened, this celebrated lǎozihào (established restaurant) located on Qianmen Dajie – finished in grey brick and serenaded with traditional Chinese music – is famed for its shāomài dumplings, although service is rather slow. Try the lamb shāomài (Y38) or the shrimp and leek shāomài (Y36) and pay up front.
