Steak and Eggs is a reliable place that serves large portions of pretty good food. The food is largely well done for what it is but don't expect anything particularly startling. Breakfasts are really the star of the show and Steak and Eggs is usually packed on the weekends to show for it. The usual favorite is 3 eggs & steak with properly cooked buttered toast and "home fried potatoes." My other half loves the bottomless cups of proper coffee and my kids love the fantastic milkshakes.

Paul, the owner, usually has some kind of dinner deal going on that is definitely worth the price and he always shows the big American sports fixtures. Luckily the place is designed so that the TV won't disturb you if you come just for a feed.

It's cheap, good quality food that always wins a place in the local magazine food awards. 

Oh and avoid the grits unless "Momma" brought you up on them
