The focal point of the Beijing indie scene, D-22 does a fantastic job of showcasing local bands, and a few foreign ones too. A solid sound system combines with the stripped-down interior to give it the vibe of a London or New York venue. It’s a big muso hang-out, so you might find yourself propping up the bar with one of Beijing’s guitar heroes.
