Caffé El Barrista

Lonely Planet review

This Italian-style, Palestinian-Chilean coffeehouse serves the best brew in this chapter, bar none, and draws a healthy lunch crowd for excellent CH$5000 menus and a selection of tasty sandwiches. As evening wears on, it draws a hostel-owner/tour-operator crowd, who come for extensive lines of Chilean microbrews and strong mojitos, which are emptied repeatedly until the crowd heads across the street to Garage. Best in show.
