Santiago’s wrought-iron fish market is a classic for long lunches (or hangover-curing fish-stew breakfasts). Skip the overpriced tourist traps in the middle, and make for one of the tiny, low-key stalls around the edge, such as the cheap and friendly Pailas Denisse ([tel] 672-2926) at Local 16, where you can pick up tasty meals (CH$2500 to CH$3500).

    expensive, bad service, not clean at all and smelly

    jealbornoz does not recommend this,

    there are better places to eat seafood in santiago.. ive seen rats and other insects in the market.. go for fun, try some fruits, maybe machas but definetively dont eat there..

    Incredible Experience, a really Chilean Tipical Place

    The Fish is Great, and is really fresh, i loved it, Incredible place. The only place that is still Traditional and Latin in Chile.
