Panadería Latino
So much more than a bakery, this downtown institution is popular for its huge comida a la vista (buffet). Just smile and point - the servers will fill your plate with all manner of steaming delights including tasty lasagna, beef in salsa, and crisp veggies, then ladle you a cup of horchata (soft drink) from plastic pails at the end of the line.

St George’s Dining Room
The main restaurant at the Radisson serves hearty buffet lunches with a different theme daily (Mexican, Caribbean, Asian etc) and a mainly Mediterranean dinner menu, with plenty of seafood and some vegetarian options. There are also buffets on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, and a big Sunday brunch. Dishes are reliably good.

Comidas Royale
Right on Parque Central, this is one of the best buffets in town. Not only is it open all day, every day, but the trays always seem to be brimming with fresh food. Dishes vary by the hour – típico of all sorts is served up alongside Honduran-style chow mein, fried rice, sweet-and-sour chicken, and ribs.

Fuente de Salud y Juventud
Mainly a natural goods store (vitamins, supplements etc), the Fount of Health & Youth also prepares a modest vegetarian buffet. The food is pretty underwhelming, but for vegetarians surviving on rice, beans and licuados (smoothies), it’s a welcome change. Spa treatments are offered here, too.

Pollo Camperkin
Pollo Camperkin Comida a la vista (meal served buffet) is prepared daily at this modest cafeteria - there is typically a chicken dish (as the name suggests), vegetables and beans. Arrive early for each meal to get the best pickin's. Around sunset pupusas are served up hot and fresh.
