Hey, I am very excited as I am moving to the Cayman Islands with my family in few months. Can anyone suggest a good cable operator there? Also, I need some info. on real estate agents to purchase/rent a property. Thanks in advance.
I'm looking at going to the Cayman Island June 7th-14th. Is it a good time to go then? What are some attractions to see and do? I'm a 28-year-old female solo traveler. I'm very adventurous and love meeting new people. I would like to stay under $125-$150 US per night on accommodation if possible.
We just found out we will be spending a glorious week on Grand Cayman from 02/25/17 to 03/03/17. We really like to engage in the local experience and would appreciate any advice as to anyone's knowledge of specialized events happening that week. Much appreciation in advance for any advice you have!
I am going to Costa Rica for three weeks in December. My trip route is somewhat decided, but there a couple areas I could use some advice from past travelers. My plans are to avoid overloved places.
1> I'll be spending time in the Peninsula de Osa. Originally, I planned to stay in Puerto Jimenez for about 4-5 days to explore Corcovado Parque and surrounding areas. I had decided that Bahia Drake was too expensive, but now I have located reasonable lodging. Snorkeling off of Isla del Cano is one…
I'd love to swim with the rays at Stingray city but I hate the idea of boat captains grabbing rays, tacky photos kissing rays or with rays on your back and then being hassled to buy said tacky photos along with 5000 other cruise ship passengers. I just want a respectful encounter, are there any companies that offer this that people can recommend? We are staying 5 days so can go early/late, thanks.
For my master thesis I am going to be at Grand Cayman for one month (half April-half May).
We are looking for a cheap place to stay (both students and not so much to spend) preferably in George Town.
If you have any information, agencies or contacts, please let us know!
Hello! My husband and I are looking into a trip to Grand Cayman in February with our 2 adult sons. I can see that there are many luxurious hotels, but wonder if it is possible to find a nice apartment with cooking facilities and a pool that will not be outrageously expensive? We will have a rental car, and plan to travel around for diving, snorkelling, historical sites and restaurants. I appreciate any advice you can give. Many thanks!
I have put my app in for a 2 year contract in Georgetown, Grand Cayman, to start around mid-March 2016. I will have an 8 yr old with me. Looking for information about housing options, elementary/primary school options and opinions, childcare suggestions/options (must have 24-hr availability), any suggestions, things to watch out for, prepare for, etc. Any and all info is appreciated... TIA!!
My husband and I, usually more adventurous travelers, are opting for a cruise in a couple of weeks to try something laid back. Since we really don't want to partake in cookie-cutter shore excursions, I thought I'd ask all of you for your suggestions for our one day in Grand Cayman. My husband likes to surf, I like natural beauty and history, and we both love good local food. We're comfortable renting our own transportation and getting away from the usual tourist attractions if your suggestions…
