This great hotel has an unbeatable location and nautically-themed modern rooms with balcony doors that can be opened to take full advantage of the sea air. Business travellers and children are equally well looked after.
NH has to be one of the most stylish hotel chains around, and it provides a comfortable stay with all the trappings and excellent service. The lobby here sets the tone, with its black tubular lamps, dark chocolate-brown paintwork, sage green sofas and chairs, and a magnificent quirky version of Velazquez' Las Meninas executed in colourful tiles. The rooms are perfectly coordinated, with their striped blue-and-white curtains and fabrics coupled with the cool pale wood of shiny parquet floors. The terraces have arguably the best views in the city - of the pretty harbour complete with fishing boats and long sandy beach of a backdrop. The elegant restaurant has a bright colour scheme and the menu includes plenty of seafood dishes including a tasty sopa de mariscos (seafood soup).
