This bar, with a lovely terrace, has been in the same family since the 15th century and is named after a Guanche princess who died defending Gran Canaria. The atmosphere and tapas are suitably memorable.

    The Canary Islands are all so different that you can have a multitude of experiences. I have travelled to 4 of the 7 and have to say Fuerteventura is my favourite. And on that island Casa Princess Arminda is a jewel. To start the building is as old as the conquerers, wow! The guy who runs the place is from the original family who lived in this 500+ villa, he's redoing it a bit at a time in the classic style. The food is good island food. The potatoes with mojo sauce are a treat and the mixed salad with fresh island veggies is a good lunch along with nice fish. Sometimes they have a big bar b que going with freshly grilled options. There seem to be enough choices for everyone on the menu, but the real attraction here is the place and the people. The building itself is a photographers paradise. Enjoy!

    This place is a tourist trap

    We were recommended this restaurant as being great food and good value for money. Whilst the price was good, the food was bad. The entree was a joke - onion soup-, more like dish water. The main – plato mixto – even a better joke, not worth 10 euro. Didn't order any dessert b/c I was way too disappointed. We ordered wine, had a quick smell and it was more like vinegar than wine. The service was nice, but dirty. Avoid.
    As the guy above says also, good place for visiting and take photos for 5 to 10 minutes, less good for eating.

    Good for: very low budgeted
