Bin 941 information
Lonely Planet review
A hopping, intimate spot that's packed almost every night, cave-like Bin 941 kicked off Vancouver's small-plates fever a few years back, and they haven't lost their touch. The inventive menu, based on local and seasonal ingredients, often includes international-influenced dishes such as short ribs, seared scallops and steamed fresh mussels (go for the coconut-milk broth).
It's one of the best spots in town for late-night nibbles and a few glasses of wine with chatty friends – which will quickly include the people squeezed next to you at the small adjoining table. Reservations not accepted.
