Lonely Planet review for Paul’s Place Omelettery
You’ll be jostling for space with strollers and chatty moms at this unassuming breakfast joint near the south side of Granville Bridge, but it’s worth it: this cozy place is far superior to most city bacon-and-egg spots. The menu is short and sweet, but it’s grounded on 12 signature omelets, including a chockablock vegetarian option that will make carnivores eye you jealously. It’s a great place to start the day before a wander down to Granville Island, but there’s also a lunch menu of house-made burgers and sandwiches.

More than meets the egg
leandraf recommends this,
Another drizzly, chilled-to-the-bone day in Vancouver but you only have two days to see everything so you suck it up and head out. Your stomach and your companion start to growl so you keep an eye out for a restaurant that's not going to break the bank and... quel surprise... there's Paul's. Unassuming and cozy - the atmosphere instantly gets on my list of places I would take my mom for Sunday brunch if I lived here. We're seated at a cushy booth and thaw our hands around numerous pots of Earl Grey. The menu boasts omelets of all concoctions but the lunch specials of steaming soup and healthy stacked sandwiches are hard to turn down. With the Beach Boys and the Beatles giving a stay-as-long-as-you-like vibe, we stayed. And marveled at how they could possibly close their doors at 3pm.
