Pekoe Tea Lounge information
A welcoming and restorative respite from clamorous Broadway, this smashing locals' favorite is ideal for visiting tea nuts. Choose from dozens of varieties from around the world (nutcracker oolong recommended) then sink into a coveted sofa seat at the back of the store. Better still: go for the $6.75 pie and tea deal, which includes a bulging housemade slice (strawberry and rhubarb is best).
It's just 75c to add ice-cream to your warmed pie choice, and most slices are vegan and gluten-free. If you enjoy your brew, consider a takeout tin for the road.
