10 Winter Activities You Shouldn’t Miss
Blog: i Backpack Canada - 8 December 2009
Winter is no doubt the harshest season in Canada. The weather can drop below -40 degrees Celsius over night, and stay there for weeks. However, being stuck inside the comfort of your home can cause cabin fever in no time. The need to get outside, to do something fun, is very strong in this culture.

Canada’s Lack of Cultural Food Identity
Blog: Canada's Adventure Couple - 4 December 2009
One of the things that we are most looking forward to here in India is sampling the food. We have already enjoyed delicious meals of Masala, Palak Paneer and Dosai. Indian food has incredible flavour. As you read this, we are on a house boat cruising the backwaters of Kerala with our own private chef cooking the best of what India has to offer. The other night our hosts at Skylark Guest house in Varkala cooked us a traditional Kerala meal and it was incredible. We have only been in India a week so we really cannot write a blog post about food yet.

A Tale of 2 Players - #2
Blog: Louise Heal - 11 November 2009
Wayne Gretzky, on the other hand, needs no introduction.OK, that's such a lie. Of course I'd never heard of him. What do you think I am, some sort of sports freak? The first time the name ever passed into my consciousness was when we were planning the trip and Simon mentioned Wayne Gretzky's as somewhere we might eat one evening. So we did - on Friday night we had a pleasant meal there, browsed some memorabilia and I didn't really think very much of it.

When my brother got married last November my cousins and I tried to decide which one of us would be next. We all ventured a guess, but as fingers were pointed, each of us denied it would be us.
