    Black Creek Pioneer Village

Black Creek Pioneer Village re-creates rural life in 19th-century Ontario. Workers in period costume attend farm animals, play fiddlin’ folk music and demonstrate country crafts using authentic tools and methods. Shops sell the artisans’ handiwork – everything from tin lanterns to slate boards to licorice plugs. The village is a 40-minute drive northwest of downtown. Take the subway to Finch then bus 60. Parking costs $6.
