Lonely Planet review for Art Gallery of Ontario

The AGO houses art collections both excellent and extensive (bring your stamina). Highlights include rare Québecois religious statuary, First Nations and Inuit carvings, major Canadian works by the Group of Seven, the Henry Moore sculpture pavilion, and a restored Georgian house, The Grange. There’s a surcharge for special exhibits.

    Eclectic and eye opening

    wakethesun recommends this,

The architecture of the building alone is worth a visit. The Galleria Italia is amazing. The collections have something for everyone, whether you like classic paintings, local or native art, or modern bits. I don't know if we would have gone here if it wasn't for the King Tut exhibition, but it was well worth a visit!
