An Annex fixture, this cheerful corner bistro has a fusion menu that leans towards Middle Eastern. Although there’s plenty of meat on the menu, vegetarians won’t go hungry. Service is A+ and the wine list features Niagara ice varietals and labels from far-flung Oregon and Australia.

    Great for people-watching!

    This friendly little neighbourhood restaurant has a pretty decent dinner menu of mediterranean- inspired goodies (combination plate is fab!) And they often feature a prix fixe menu which is great value. Their breakfast menu features a multitude of eggs, delicious juice and other breakfast stand-bys - and is a great destination for a weekday feast. Go early on weekends if you don't want to line up.

    The much-coveted and often-reserved seats in the window (and, in the summer, the patio) are fantastic for watching the world go by - this is a busy neighbourhood full of characters!
