    Divining its name from the initials of its chef owners, sassy JOV Bistro is a neighborhood space for independent-minded foodies. Dinner and weekend reservations should be made in advance, but the forethought is worth it, especially for witty French reinterpretations of classic seafood dishes. You'd be best served by taking the chefs up on their 'Trust Me' four-course dinner ($70; wine pairings extra).
