Lonely Planet review for Dumpling House Restaurant
Watch dumplings being rolled in the window, then walk right in, sit right down and order a steaming mass of them. Impale steamed or pan-fried pork, chicken, beef, seafood or vegetarian dumplings on your chopsticks, dunk them in soy sauce and dispense with them forthwith.

Good quick fix
ccopreni recommends this,
Walking around Toronto's Chinatown you'll feel like you're walking in a true chinese market. Sounds and smells are just the same, and if you're looking for the tastiest dumplings in town then The Dumpling House is a must! Although the restaurant appearances can let you wonder on its igiene, once the 12 (or 18) steaming dumplings will be right in front of you, all the rest will be just like, well...in China!
There's a good variety of steamed and pan-fried dumpling , and if you can't make up your mind you can even pick 3 different kinds for the price of 1.
Special mention goes to the daily homemade hot sauce, of which you just can't get enough.
A dinner for 2 with soft drinks runs around $15 with tip. The staff is very nice, the food tastes amazing, and you'll be out and about with a full stomach in no time!Good for: food, Budget Travellers, Solo Travellers, service
