Lonely Planet review
In the grand tradition of the famed Canadian railway hotels, the Bessborough is easily up to the castle standard; it is the architectural exclamation point on the Saskatoon skyline. The interior reflects a luxe ethos that was especially fanciful when the hotel opened in Depression-era 1935. The 225 rooms come in many shapes and sizes. Sadly things have slipped a bit and the back gardens are shabby where there should be a stunning riverfront cafe.
