Cafe restaurants in Saskatchewan

  1. A

    Jake's on 21st

The throaty hiss of the espresso machine speaks volumes about Jake's. Great coffee, a hipster vibe, lots of sandwiches and baked goods; deservedly popular for a weekday lunch.

  2. Crushed Grape

In an unassuming bland brick building in Cathedral Village, this bistro comes alive inside with local art and on many nights live jazz. As the name implies, there's a great list of wines by the glass. The menu is inventive, the Sunday brunch excellent. Many vie for patio tables in summer.

  3. 13th Ave Coffee House

Plantain chips emerging erect from the Jivin Jerk Bowl (spicy tempeh and lots of veggies) show that this isn't just another coffee place. Sure the java is good but the long veggie menu makes for fun exploring. A Cathedral Village anchor, it has a fine patio out front.
