  1. A

    RCMP Heritage Centre

Learn how the Mounties always get their man at the RCMP Heritage Centre. Several exhibitions chart the past, present and future of these iconic Canadian police officers. Vintage uniforms and some technologically cool displays tell the whole story. This is also part of the RCMP training centre, where recruits learn the ropes. Interesting stuff, but it doesn't stray too far from the Dudley Do-Right stereotype. Tours and a multimedia presentation are included with the cover charge.

  2. B

    Royal Saskatchewan Museum

Not just another museum, the Royal Saskatchewan Museum offers great insight into the people and geography that come together to make Saskatchewan. The three main galleries all have their own flavor, focusing on the earth, animals and Aboriginal peoples. Hyper-real prairie dioramas tell the story of the native fauna and the cultures that lived off the harsh land. Sweat lodges, dinosaurs and deer all make an appearance.

  3. C

    Provincial Legislature

If you want to tell the premier what you think of Saskatchewan, head over to the Provincial Legislature . The Leg is a pretty cool structure, with marble floors and some nice woodwork. There are free tours (held every half-hour) and a great lawn out front, perfect for Frisbee or political demonstrations - whichever you prefer.

    Regina Plains Museum

The tiny and simple Regina Plains Museum has some interesting artifacts, but the big draw is the glass wheat field, where thousands of individual blades of glass form an inverted chandelier of wheat.

    Regina Pats

The young, tough, eager players of the Western Hockey League (WHL) make for an exciting brand of hockey. Rabid fans, crashing and bashing - everything a hockey game should be.
