Pizza restaurants in Canada

  1. A

    Pizzeria Gepetto

New in 2009, Pizzeria Gepetto brings yet another star to the burgeoning restaurant scene in Petite Bourgogne, in the form of delicious thin-crust pizzas, fresh-from-the-market salads and a small but well-curated beer and wine selection. The interior is classically set with gilt-edged mirrors on one wall, low-lit art-deco-style lamps, dark wood details and a chalkboard listing daily specials. Red chairs add a touch of whimsy and match Gepetto’s real star – the brick oven behind the bar. On warm summer nights, join the laid-back neighborhood crowd for alfresco dining at sidewalk tables in front.

    Supermodel Pizza

The motto stutters, 'Our crust is as thin as supermodel' – no prizes for grammar, and we didn't see any bulimic waifs chomping down slices, but we're willing to take the bait for one of their Florentine special pizzas (pesto, spinach, roast peppers and feta).

  3. C

    Claudio's

Classic Italian fare and pizzas are served to ravenous hordes at this old-fashioned but oh-so-popular storefront. Tables outside are in demand in summer. Many opt for takeout and the comfort of their rooms.

  4. D

    Pizza of Waterton

Fine pizza 'to go' (the lakeside calls on warm summer evenings), or in the informal interior where you can wash it down with a cold Canadian beer.

  5. E

    Copper Kettle

Regina's favorite pizza joint is actually quite large and stylish, with a wide patio across from Victoria Park. The choice of toppings boggles the mind although you'll be all atwitter if you opt for the sausage, mushroom and sun-dried tomato number. The pizzas have a good, crispy crust.

  6. Rip 'n' Richards Eatery

Enjoy the views of the Elk River and surrounding peaks from the deck. But save some attention for the long menu of good burgers, salads and pizza.
