In Huron-Ouendat, the number eight is a letter, pronounced 'oua' (like the 'wh' in 'what'), which explains the curious name of the reconstructed Huron village Onhoüa Chetek8e. It's in small Wendake, about 15km northwest of the city via Hwy 73 (exit 154). Entry to the village is by a 45-minute tour.
