Lonely Planet review
This vast Victorian mansion has all the period trappings, from floral prints and embroidered chair caning to plush button-eyed teddy bears and varnished sewing machines: there's so much atmosphere in here. A variety of private suites are available – we love the John McGee room. Enjoy the full breakfast in the dining room amid chirps from antique cuckoo clocks. This is an excellent choice for those who love history and charm.
Our independent authors have visited McGee's Inn and selected this as one of our recommended accommodation in Ottawa.
