Introducing Kentville
During the colorful spring bloom of the valley, the Annapolis Valley Apple Blossom Festival (www.appleblossom.com) in early June brings folks together with concerts, a parade, barbecues and art shows. Kentville is the county seat for this area, with a number of government offices and stately old homes. The Tourist Office (902-678-7170; 125 Park St; 9:30am-7pm Jul & Aug, to 5:30pm mid-May–Jun & Sep-early Oct) is west of the town center.
