Plage des Îles
On warm summer days this artificial sandy beach can accommodate up to 5000 sunning and splashing souls. It’s safe, clean and ideal for kids, and picnic facilities and snack bars serving beer are also on-site. Volleyball at the 2006 World Outgames was held here and there are still several professional-standard volleyball courts left over for anyone to use. The beach is closed on ‘bad days, ’ but call to check if it’s open –their idea of a bad day may not be the same as yours.
