Le Gros Jambon information
From Travis Champion of local favorite l’Orignal, just around the corner, this faux-retro snack bar serves up yummy hipster comfort food with homemade ingredients. It’s high-calorie food, but just try to resist: smoked meat-topped hot dogs (aka the Montréal), duck confit mac ‘n’ cheese, smoked-meat and grilled cheese sandwiches, fish tacos and olive oil–bathed poutine (fries smothered in cheese curds and gravy) bathed in truffle oil.
Vintage Montréal kitsch adorns the wall along the bar.
