Lonely Planet review for La Paryse
Often credited with the thickest, juiciest burgers and best fries in town, this smart little retro diner offers an excellent variety of toppings and thick, rich milkshakes. This place is an integral part of the neighborhood and when owner Madame Paryse recently celebrated 25 years in business, employees and customers alike sent her a flood of congratulatory emails.

Simple has never been so tasty

We're not reinventing the wheel here -- we're just making it absolutely scrumptious. Perfect for the "lendemain de veille" (day after a hard night out) or even toward the end of a night of partying, these burgers and fries hit the spot just right. There are some great vegetarian choices, too, and a selection of beer and wine to keep it going. It lately seems to be attracting a lot of groups of French people (as in from France), so you can go polish up your language skills with other strangers. Great cake, too. Nothing too healthy, of course, but you'll feel great and satisfied once you're out the door. Expect a line-up!
