  2. Istori

Unwind at two bars or 20 pool tables at this loft-style pool hall on the 2nd floor, a world away from rue Ste-Catherine below. Beers are tasty and potent (Hoegaarden, Leffe, Stella Artois) and you can obliterate an order of nachos or tacos before your next full clearance. Pool is free Mondays and Tuesdays to midnight.

  3. Sharx

You won't look out of place if you dress up for this slick, post-apocalyptic pool hall. It caters mostly for pool with its 36 tables but has a couple of full sizes for snooker or billiards. Rows of TVs, a sizeable bar and a bowling alley make it more of a place for drinks and a good time rather than serious billiards.
