Kelowna airport (YLW; 250-765-5125; www.kelownaair port.com) is a busy place. Westjet (www.westjet.com) serves Vancouver, Victoria, Edmonton, Calgary and Toronto. Air Canada Jazz (www.aircanada.com) serves Vancouver and Calgary. Horizon Air (www.alaskaair.com) serves Seattle. The airport is a long 20km north of the center on Hwy 97.

Greyhound Canada (800-661-8747; www.grey hound.ca; 2366 Leckie Rd) stops north of the downtown area, off Hwy 97. Buses travel to other points in the Okanagan Valley such as Osoyoos ($23, 2½ hours, two daily), as well as Kamloops ($28, three hours, three daily), Vancouver ($62, six hours, six daily) and Calgary ($87, 10 hours, one daily). City bus 10 makes the run from Queensway station, downtown (every 30 minutes between 6:30am and 9:45pm).
