Bruno's Cafe & Grill

restaurants / Breakfast & brunch spots

Lonely Planet review

While other joints stop serving breakfasts at 11am, Bruno's keeps going all day, replenishing the appetites of mountain men and women as it once replenished its one-time Swiss guide owner, Bruno Engler. It's a kind of greasy spoon meets pub. The walls are decorated with antique ski gear, and the crowd at the next table could well be last night's live band refueling for tonight's gig.

The formidable Mountain Breakfast ($17) is served in a basket and requires a Mt Rundle-size appetite.
