Lonely Planet review
Next door to the hot springs, the Rimrock is plush and spectacularly located, although it often gets overshadowed by Banff's crème de la crème hotel, the Fairmont. Controversially located in a wildlife corridor on the slopes of Sulphur Mountain, the views here are nonetheless inspiring.
Mountain decadence coats the chalet-like interior, the restaurant (Eden) is considered fine dining, and the rooms almost match the stunning outdoor vistas. Worth every penny.
Our independent authors have visited Rimrock Resort Hotel and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Banff Town.
