If the pre-release buzz is any indicator, director Rob Marshall (Chicago) may strike gold again with his latest musical sensation, NINE, starring Daniel Day-Lewis, Nicole Kidman, Penélope Cruz, Marion Cotillard, Kate Hudson, Fergie, Judi Dench and Sophia Loren, which opens nationwide in US theaters on Christmas Day. Filmed in Rome, as well as the nearby seaside town of Anzio and hilltop village of Sutri, this lush, passionate film captures the heart of Italy in a unique, fantastic way.
