Angkor Wat area's major sights on a daytrip?

Hi!

If based in Seam Reap, are the Angkor Wat area's major sights possible to be seen on a daytrip? Or does it require several days, each with overnight back in Seam Reap?

Thanks!

Nice Beach Hut Sihanoukville/Koh Rong/

HI!

I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on where to stay either on Otres Beach, Koh Rong, or a similar island. I am looking for a beach bungalow style accommodation or unique properties that are cute and clean. I am looking for something nice on the inside with a finished bathroom, with a good atmosphere etc. We will be staying for christmas so we are looking to spend a little more compared to the usual backpacker digs. Top price would be 40$ range...has anyone stayed somewhere they…

e visa

We'll be traveling from Thailand to Laos to Cambodia and then back to Thailand for 2 weeks this December. I've gone through the forum, and still can't decide if we're better off with an e-visa or not. I'm not at all clear what happens when you arrive by land in Cambodia; seems a real rugby scrum. I have a US passport, my wife a Russian one. Should we get an e-visa or try for one when we reach the border? Is that doable for a Russian one?

Cambodia-Laos Travel

I'll be working in Phnom Penh for about 3 weeks in January, 2015. I will have some time togo to Siam Reap-Angkor Wat during that time, but I'm thinking of extending my stay for a week or 10 days after. Is that enough time to go to Laos by riverboat, then Bangkok by bus? I'll be teaching in a hospital and a nursing school as well as working with the Cambodian Ministry of health, so, frankly, I might have had my fill of intense cultural…

Diving near Koh Rong

Hi - am looking for info on the best diving options near Koh Rong. We want to stay there for 4 or 5 days in March. Any ideas will be most appreciated (also if there are better places to locate ourselves on the Cambodian coast). Thanks!

Longer term (20 days approx.) car hire, with driver, in Cambodia.

Hello,

we (2 person) intend to travel in Cambodia for about 3 weeks in April/May 2015.
How much (US $) per day would it cost for a good Sedan and/or a 4 WD-vehicle, with a driver? Petrol would be paid by us, as needed. For about 20 days with unlimited km?

Thank You!
Willy
