I am trying to figure out how to get from Phnom Penh to andoung teuk. It seems that the best is to buy bus tickets directly from the bus companies.
Do you guys know if I can buy the bus ticket directly on the bus station, and when is the opening hours? We are arriving at Phnom Penh 8pm, and will be leaving around 07:45 the next day. I really want a seat on a bus at that time!
It also seems that Virak Buntham is the only company who can take me to AndoungTeuk, when I look at Soroya I…
Does anybody have any experience and/or advice for sport fishing in Cambodia? Spots to fish at and what type of gear or rig?
I brought a mid weight collapsing rod to the Philippines before and had a little luck catching some Tilapia and Grouper (Lapu-lapu) and was wondering if it would be worth bringing it to Cambodia where I'll be visiting most of October.
Pulling in a fish off the banks of the Mekong might be fun, but also trying to figure out how much gear I really need to bring.
What's the best way to travel from Sihanoukville to Siem Reap? I'm travelling in November & have tried booking a flight on the Angkor Air website, but my payment details are not going through. Do I need to worry about not booking in advance, are there any other other websites to buy tickets through or better ways to travel? My trip is only 14 days so don't have too long in Cambodia.
1) Is it possible to go at rainy season (we will be at Cambodia from 24.9 to 6.10.) from Pursat to Kaoh Kong and stop at Ou Som?
We want to do some trek in Ou Som and then in Kaoh Kong.
2) Is it possible to do trek to Phnom Samkos? If it is not, is it needed to have a guide when we will do trek to Phnom Aural?
Thank you for answers .)
When googling around how to get from Siem Reap to Kampong Thom, we found that the buses want to bring you there, but only if you pay the full price to Phnom Penh.
Are there bus companies in SR that are more correct?
We are currently in Siem Reap and looking for a posibility to share a taxi to Preah Vihear (and Koh Ker if possible in one day). Someone who's interested to split cost (about 110to150 usd in total for a taxi for a whole day), let us know.
We are with 2 of us so 2 other persons are welcome.
Preferably between 13 and 16 september.
We are taking a 5 day vacation through Thailand and would like to take a short trip to Cambodia to visit Siem Reap. Do you recommend signing up for a two day tour or a self guided tour?
The tours I was considering is something like this (recommended from tripadvisor)
The self guided tour I was thinking was similar to this:
Thanks for your help! We've never been to Cambodia and are both…
I will be going to sihanoukville and koh rong islands on October... I am worried at the weather.. As if it is going to rain then my trip with be spoiled. So what can I do. Heading into Angkor Wat for 6 days with my wife... keen to relax and take in the nature of where we are staying but also want to get out and see temples etc...
Was going to do a two day temple tour with HAT tours but thinking 9 hour days might get a bit old. Anyone know any good tour guides and would it be better to do some 3-5 hour morning tours rather than the longer 9 hours.
Any other interesting things to do around Angkor?
